Hing Wei Yan
Executive Director
Hing Wei Yan is a highly respected insurance professional with over 25 years of experience specializing in claims management and insurance operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree and multiple professional accreditations, including AMII (Senior Associate) and Senior Associate CIP (ANZIIF). Throughout his distinguished career, Hing has held senior leadership positions in leading insurance companies such as Kurnia Insurans, AmGeneral, and Tokio Marine, where he established a strong reputation for fairness, technical expertise, and integrity in claims handling.
Currently serving as Executive Director at Alpha Management Services Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the Lam Soon Group, Hing oversees corporate strategy, client advisory, and claims consultancy. His deep understanding of the insurance landscape enables him to craft effective, client-focused solutions that balance risk and protection. Hing continues to champion professional excellence and ethical practice, ensuring Alpha remains a trusted name in Malaysia’s insurance industry.
